We made 60 of these cassettes and split them down the middle with the Little Lovers, whose charming hooks adorn the other side. We sold most of them during our October 2012 shows in Brisbane and Sydney, and the rest of the DB copies have sold out here on Bandcamp. Dollar Bar’s side features five new songs recorded at homes and rehearsal studios in some likely, and not so likely, locations - Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Cambodia and Canada. It serves as a precursor of sorts to our second studio album Paddington Workers Club and features some earlier versions of a few tracks that appear on that record.

Little Lovers’ side was recorded in their Marrickville rehearsal room over a couple of nights and a couple of cases, and includes a cover of legendary Brisbane band Extrafoxx’s Big Pineapple.
